TEEN CENTER USA STAFF

Growing up in the Old Town Elk Grove community, Scott attended Joseph Kerr Middle School and Elk Grove High School. After school he could be found at Teen Center USA (formerly known as the Elk Grove Teen Center) where the programs and the mentorship of the staff members helped to impact his formative years. After graduating high school, Scott served a term of service as an infantryman in the US Army. Stationed at Fort Hood Texas, Scott volunteered his off-duty time serving in the chapel youth ministry, mentoring the students of his fellow military service members. In the years following his military service, he attended William Jessup University in Rocklin, California, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry. In addition to his new role at Teen Center USA, he serves as the Youth Ministry Leader at his church in Elk Grove.

Teen Center USA is a safe place where teens can be mentored, nurtured, and guided to see their value and reach their full potential. As a product of Teen Center USA himself, Scott is excited to bring over ten years of experience working with at risk youth to his role of Executive Director and to help lead the Center into it’s next chapter of serving the teens of Elk Grove.
